Thomas King is an award-winning writer whose work consists of fiction, non-fiction, short stories, radio plays, children’s books, and a mystery series.

Indians On Vacation (2020) won the Stephen Leacock Award for Humour.

Facilitator Sharon Shorty is from the Tlingit, Northern Tutchone and Norwegian People. Sharon is from the Raven Clan and was raised with the storytelling tradition of her southern Yukon community. An actor, storyteller, producer, and playwright, she is one half of the beloved comedy duo “Gramma Susie and Grampa Charlie”.

Presented by Whitehorse Public Library and the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre, with support from the Canada Council. A number of books are available to borrow in print, digital, audio, and accessible formats for those with print disabilities.
