The annual campaign, designed to draw attention to men’s mental and physical health has seen TPS involvement since 2011, totalling over 800 members and $300,000 since its inception.

The Toronto Police Association matched the first $10,000 raised by its members, with hopes of beating last years raised amount.

“Our goal for next year is always to beat this year’s goal. And then beat next year’s goal and the one after that and after that,” Kevin Corrigan, Director of Civilian Field Services for the TPA said.

Mila Cormack, who works in Partnerships for Movember Canada commended the Follicle Force’s repeated commitment to the cause.

“Follicle force is one of our longest standing Toronto Movember teams. It’s been over 10 years and we are so proud to have them back again, and not only did they raise over 10k, it’s also being matched. So we are very very proud to be associated with them, and they’ve made it even more fun by adding Draper the mustachioed horse to the group.”

When Draper was asked if he minded being the face of the Movember campaign for the second year in a row, he proudly responded “neigh.”
