Ringer Island RCMP explores private incendiarism, looks for public’s help

The Bell Island RCMP are looking into a residential arson that broke out at a house on Lance Cove Road early this morning.

The call of a house fire came in shortly after 3 a.m., and police arrived at the scene. The house was unoccupied at the time, and it sustained extensive damage. It is thought that the fire was started around 2:00 a.m. Today, a fire scene investigator arrived at the scene. The investigation is still underway.
