Saskatchewan’s manufacturing sales are rising

The most recent Statistics Canada data indicate that manufacturing sales in Saskatchewan are once again expanding strongly year over year.

Trade and Economic Development Minister Jeremy Harrison stated, “These annual growth rates in manufacturing sales show that our province is open for business and we are ready to further increase our exports around the world.” This unwavering strength contributes to the development of a prosperous Saskatchewan economy that benefits everyone.

Saskatchewan’s assembling deals expanded by 10.5 percent (occasionally changed) in February 2023 contrasted with February 2022, third as far as rate change among the regions.

In February 2023, manufacturing sales in Saskatchewan totaled approximately $2 billion.

Saskatchewan has performed well in a number of other important economic indicators in recent months. Between January 2022 and January 2023, the value of wholesale trade increased by 48.3%, reaching $4.9 billion. Metropolitan lodging begins were up 76.4 percent from February 2022 to February 2023, and interest in building development was up 2.7 percent to a sum of $356 million in February 2023 contrasted with February 2022. These are among the top development rates in Canada.
