The AGO requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and we have implemented the following measures to ensure your health and safety:

  • The AGO requires all visitors aged 12 and up, including those dining at AGO Bistro, attending on-site events or visiting shopAGO, to prove they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please see the FAQ below for details.
  • All visitors, including Members and Annual Passholders, must book timed-entry tickets in advance on our ticketing website prior to visiting the AGO. We are limiting the number of people in the Gallery at any one time to allow for increased physical distancing. This also means you aren’t standing in line for too long.
  • We ask that everyone wear a mask or face covering while visiting the Gallery.
  • The AGO’s state of the art HVAC system has a 95% efficiency or MERV 15 rating, ensuring regular fresh air exchange and filtration.
  • We have increased our cleaning schedule and will be disinfecting high touch and high traffic areas multiple times a day.
  • This summer the AGO installed UV sanitizing lighting in all fan systems throughout the building. UV sanitizing lighting is considered to be an effective tool to further aide to reduce the spread of pathogens and provide ongoing disinfection.

  • Before entering the Gallery, everyone will be asked a series of health screening questions. Should you answer yes to any of these, please visit us at another time. Please see the FAQ below for more details.
